This was by far the most in-depth and rewarding UX projects I’ve worked on up to this point. Canvas is the most-used education platform at universities and higher education programs in the U.S. As a Lead UX Designer, my role was to help conduct research on what users use the application for most, what kinds of issues they had with it, and what would be the best direction to help solve the issues we found. It resulted in a clean UI re-design that ended up saving users an average of 52% of their time in accomplishing the tasks they needed.
